There are so many different workout headphones available that it can be hard to choose just one. That said, if you follow along with us below, we’ll show you five of our favorite choices that you can pick up for the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Apple AirPods

Coming up first on our countdown, we’re naturally looking at the Apple AirPods. These are a great pair of workout and casual headphones, but also because they take advantage of a specific feature in the iPhone 11 Pro Max — the W1 chip inside the phone. This makes it easy to pair the AirPods with the iPhone 11 Pro Max, preserve battery life, and even give you better audio quality.

One of our favorite parts about the Apple AirPods is the battery life inside. The W1 chip with the iPhone helps with this battery preservation a lot, but there are actually whole five hours of juice inside the earbuds themselves, and then there are another twenty four in the charging case. That said, you should be able to use these most of the week without throwing them on the charger.

And if you need them in a pinch, these are nice because when you throw them in the charging case, they only take fifteen minutes to charge up to full battery.

Samsung Galaxy Buds

The Apple AirPods are a marvel of technology, but not everyone’s cup of tea. That said, you might find better comfort and fitment in the Samsung Galaxy Buds. These, however, do not take advantage of the W1 processing chip but bring you a good experience nonetheless.

Battery life is relatively decent in the Galaxy Buds, but nowhere near on the same level as the Apple AirPods. When they run out, there are an additional seven hours that you can charge up from the charging case, unfortunately not the twenty four that the AirPods have.

There’s some sweat resistance inside as well, which makes them ideal for the gym. What makes these unique is the digital noise canceling, allowing you to turn off ambient noise whenever you please.

Beats Solo3

If the earbud-style headphones aren’t your cup of tea, a full-size pair of headphones like the Beats Solo3 are a common sighting at the gym. These are way larger than just the AirPods or Galaxy Buds. However, that gives Beats more room to fit technology inside, so ultimately, you’re getting better sound quality inside, as well as better volume.

Battery life is way more impressive in here. You’re getting forty hours of straight music playback. And when your battery is low, just five minutes of charging on the wire can get you another three hours of playback.

Jaybird X3

Jaybird has become a pretty well-known name in the audio industry, as well. They’re quite versatile, working as excellent choices for the gym and casual listening. Set them in your ears, and then you have the wire that attaches them to keep them in place during more strenuous workouts.

You don’t have to worry about hurting these at the gym either — there’s a special coating to repel sweat, water, and other liquids.

Sony WH1000XM3

Sony time and time again make fabulous headphones. The WH1000XM3’s are the latest fan-favorite and work super well at the gym. These can bring you an excellent range of sound quality, as well as that wide range of volume.

These are closer to the Beats Solo3 headphones as far as battery life goes. You get thirty hours of playback time on a single charge. But, when you’re running low on juice, hook this up to the charger, and in just a couple of minutes, you’ll be good to go for another five hours.

Verdict

There are plenty of awesome workout headphones that you can use with iPhone 11 Pro Max, far more than what we showed you here today. That said, we think these five are some of the best choices that you can pick up for Apple’s biggest smartphone. All of these will bring you far better quality than what you would get with just your stock speakers.

That said, we are somewhat partial to the Apple AirPods since they use Apple’s audio processing chip, the W1. It brings you better sound quality and a more efficient battery life.
