iPhone 7 Slow Wi-Fi Connection
Problem: My iPhone 7 connects to WiFi but it is really slow and I can’t even get on safari. I have to disconnect WiFi and use my data in order to do anything. The only place it’s ok is at my house. Any place where I connect to WiFi this problem occurs. Very frustrating because I don’t want to use my data if there is free wi-fi. Please help!!
Solution: Since the problem does not occur when you are connecting to your home Wi-Fi network then there’s a chance that the problem could be caused by the wireless networks you are connecting to. There might be several people connected to the network using up the bandwidth which is why the connection becomes slow.
iPhone 7 Wi-Fi Randomly Turns On And Off
Problem: I’m having problems with WiFi. One example, I am able to connect to WiFi, but when I go into settings to disconnect or to change routers, the WiFi button will be I the “off” (non green) setting, but I still have the WiFi symbol in the top left of my phone. When I try to swipe it in to the “on” position, it won’t move, or it will start twitching between on/off. Secondly, I will turn off WiFi, to save my battery, through the “swipe up” menu, only to go back and see that it has turned itself back on. I will turn it off again and watch it turn itself back Blue/on. I’m having so many problems with this. I’m not able to connect to WiFi. I have tried several of the steps, including holding down both volume and on/off buttons. It worked ok the first time, but now does nothing. It’s not a specific router, as I am traveling and use many different routers. I do not have a carrier, as I bought my phone directly from Apple, for traveling purposes. I rarely use a sim. I rely on free/open WiFi. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then perform a factory reset on your phone. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the issue still occurs. If it does then you will need to have this checked at the nearest Apple Store.
