Blocking specific numbers/contacts on your iPhone X:

Use and manage call forwarding on your iPhone X

Your iPhone X has call forwarding unconditional (CFU) feature that allows you to immediately forward calls to another phone number without letting the device to ring. This feature is most likely helpful if you don’t want to get distracted by incoming call alerts without turning off the ringer or discarding the call. The call can still go through but routed to a different phone number. Here’s how to enable this feature on your iPhone X:

  1. Tap Settings from the Home screen.
  2. Tap Phone.
  3. Tap Call Forwarding.
  4. Tap the option to Forward to.
  5. Enter the desired number to forward calls to.

You can use your own number to forward calls to your voicemail.

Aside from CFU or call forwarding unconditional, you can also opt to use call forwarding conditional (CFC) to forward incoming calls to another phone number if you don’t or couldn’t respond to them.
