Apple iPhone 7 Plus Screen Flashes White With Apple Logo Issue & Other Related Problems

by Chad on December 11, 2017

The #Apple #iPhone7Plus is the first model that introduced several new features to an iPhone in recent years. While the previous models might look the same this phone looks different. For starters, the audio port has been removed. The mechanical home button has also been replaced with a solid state button while the rear of the phone sports two dual 12MP cameras. Although this is a solid performing device there are instances when certain issues can occur which we will be addressing today. In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will tackle the iPhone 7 Plus screen flashes white with Apple logo issue & other related problems.

iPhone 7 Plus Screen Flashes White With Apple Logo

Problem: Iphone 7 plus flashes the white screen with apple logo. I’ve tried to restore it through iTunes there will be times where it will allow me to set up as a new iPhone, when it does finalize setup, the camera doesn’t work, the microphone doesn’t work.

Solution:  If you are still having issues with the device even after restoring it using iTunes then this might already be caused by a faulty hardware component. The best way to fix this is to bring the phone to the nearest Apple Store so it can be diagnosed properly.

iPhone 7 Plus Bootloop After Screen Replacement

Problem: hi, i have a problems and i just needed few answers too. it started with cracked screen i took it to ubreakifix it (iPhone 7plus) passed all the test nothing else was wrong with my phone plus the screen has been broken for a month before i decided to take it to get fixed.. well they replaced screen and something went wrong on their end so they put my broken screen back on i told them that the looping didn’t start until they replaced screen. he acted as if he knew he was in the wrong!! so my question is could it be possible that he messed my phone up more, can it be fixed? without deleting everything on device. or is it no point of return

Solution: It looks like this issue is caused by a damaged connector cord which connects the display to the motherboard of the phone. You need to have this checked at the Apple Store.

iPhone 7 Plus Freezes When Accepting Calls

Problem: My iPhone 7+ has suddenly had microphone issues. My phone freezes when I accept a call and won’t voice record anything. Also sometimes during a call it’ll sound like a broken record or sound like incredibly loud static. It was working fine before a couple weeks ago, no outside damage, I haven’t dropped it at all. I took it to the Apple store and they checked to see if there were any hardware issues but the phone is totally fine. They said that repair would be £350 but that’s crazy especially since I know the phone itself is fine, it’s just a software issue. Also, after rebooting (which takes forever) the phone’s mic works for a bit but then stops working again. I’ve reset my settings, erased my phone, done literally everything but there seems to be no change. I even followed all your tips on your article about microphone problems with iPhone 7+ but no long term luck. Please help!!

Solution: The best suggestion that I can give right now is to restore your phone in DFU mode using iTunes.

  • Connect your iPhone 7 Plus to your Mac or PC with a Lightning to USB cable.
  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Volume Down button simultaneously for 10 seconds.
  • Release the Sleep/Wake button while continuing to hold the Volume Down button for 10 additional seconds. Unlike Recovery Mode, which presents a Connect to iTunes message on the screen, the iPhone 7’s screen will remain blank while in DFU mode.
  • Launch iTunes, and you should see a message stating that “iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes.”
  • Restore your phone.

If the issue persists then you need to have the phone repaired at the nearest Apple Store.

iPhone 7 Plus Slow After 11.1.2 Update

Problem: Hi, after updating to IOS 11.1.2 during the process, it stayed on white screen with logo for like a n hour to come back in. Phone was acting slow on camera and calls. I would answer an incoming call and it will still vibrate and then second counting but they couldn’t hear me and I could not hear either. Facetime would connect, then reconnect and said Failed. Same thing for fb video calls and whatsapp. Alsp voice messages would not work. Therefore, I forced restart and didn’t work. I then put it under recovery mode to update again through Itunes and said couldn’t be updated but restore. I restored and took like 3 hours. Then, phone will remain on white screen all night until next day will turn on as new to backup everything. Calls only worked for the first times, then again will get stuck. I restored it again and took all day to come back in, screen would turn off and back in but remain on white, then it finally turned on but issue still persisted. I went to Apple and they updated and restored with now 11.2 and it stayed on white screen with logo for now 3 days and hasn’t turned on normal yet. It dies and have to charge it but still on white screen. They said that it should be the hardware and not software. They couldn’t even tries the speakers because would turn on. Amy solutions? Thanks in advance!

Solution: Since the iOS 11.2 update is already out I suggest that you update your phone to this version first. If the issue still occurs then proceed with a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
