Rumor pegs Apple iPhone 7 Plus to launch with 3GB of RAM and powerful A10 chip

Apple iPhone 6s

With #Apple releasing the #iPhone6s this year, it’s no secret that the next major refresh would be known as the #iPhone7. And now, a new report mentions that the 2016 Apple flagship will be accompanied by the bigger #iPhone7Plus which would come with an Apple A10 chipset underneath. To complement the change, the Cupertino manufacturer is also said to be using 3GB of RAM on board.

It is said that the iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus will be available in 4.7 and 5.5 inch display sizes, much like the current iterations. But the 3GB of RAM might be exclusive to the larger iPhone model, the report hinted.

Of course, we’re still about 10 months away from the rumored release date of the smartphone, so a lot could change by then. If the past is any indication, Apple could also reveal the next major version of iOS sometime in mid-2016 during the WWDC event.

Further it is believed that the new iPhones will be as thin as 6mm, beating even the iPad Air 2, which is known for its razor thin body. What do you make of this report, could there be any credence to it?
