Most early adopters of #AppleMusic recently saw their free trial period ending, which meant that they had to start paying $9.99 per month for an individual subscription or $14.99 per month for a family of six.
Understandably, people were skeptical about the success of Apple Music once the paid model kicked in and clearly many were wrong. Apple has just announced that there are over 6.5 million paid subscribers of Apple Music out in the wild, speaking volumes about the demand and popularity of the service.
Apple Music is undoubtedly one of the breakthrough music services to have launched in recent memory and is taking on the likes of Spotify, Google Play Music etc head-on, thanks to the brand presence of Apple and deep integration with Apple iPhones and other iOS devices.
Whether the company will manage to keep the momentum going is something that only time can answer. But as of now, it seems like Apple Music is on its path to further success, unless one of the rivals come up with something disruptive, which is very likely to happen knowing the industry.
