LG has announced its 2013 lineup of home theater entertainment systems which will be on display at the 2013 Consumer Electronic Show. The new products include the BH9430PW 9.1-channel speaker system, NB4530A Sound Bar, BP730 Blu-ray player with Smart TV features, the ND8630 Dual Docking Speaker and the NP6630 Portable Speaker.
The BH9430PW is a speaker system for those who have their own personal theater. This speaker system adds an additional 4 speakers to the regular 5.1 setup, which is sure to give the ultimate surround sound experience. Also, for the first time, the BH9430PW 9.1 speaker system comes with NFC capability, making it possible to use it with the dozens of NFC capable smartphones. The BH9430PW home theater system also has Smart TV capabilities, an integrated iPod dock and a feature called the “Private Sound Mode”, which streams the system’s sound to your smartphone or personal device.
Next in line is the NB4530A Sound Bar. The 2.1 channels, 310W speakers comes with LG’s advanced 3D Surround Processor. Other features include HDMI with an Audio Return Channel for wireless connectivity to the TV and Bluetooth for streaming audio from smartphones and tablets.
Turning your dumb TV into a smart one will be LG’s BP730 Blu-Ray player, with features like Video-On-Demand (VOD) and wireless connectivity options. Naturally, services like Hulu Plus, Pandora, Netflix and YouTube are all accessible, making it possible to watch HD movies without Blu-ray discs. The BP730 Blu-ray player is NFC capable as well for easy smartphone connectivity and is compatible with LG’s Magic Remote.
LG’s ND8630 Dual Docking Speaker is for anyone with a smartphone or an iPod. The 80W speaker charges connected devices automatically and can stream audio from all Bluetooth capable devices and also supports Apple’s AirPlay. The “Mood Lamp” feature adjusts the lighting effects depending on the ambient light.
At last comes the NP6630 Wireless Portable Speaker. As with the above mentioned products LG has equipped the NP6630 with NFC, along with the standard Bluetooth connectivity. The 20W speaker also supports AirPlay.
