iPhone 6 Plus Takes Too Long To Update

Problem: Hi. I am from Ecuador and yesterday I bought my iPhone 6 plus 64 gb. Once I turn it on and i am updating it to iOS 8.1.3 and it’s taking already 20 + hrs. and still going. I am using a wi-fi connection to do the update could this be why? here  only show me verifying update , no more , I ma try to switch off but not work switch off and other function , Please help me ??

Solution: Updating your phone requires a stable Internet connection. The amount of time needed to download he update will depend on the size of the file that needs to be downloaded and your Internet speed. If it takes too long to download the update then you should try connecting to a different Wi-Fi source.

If the download still takes a long time even when connected to a different Wi-Fi network then your next step is to try to update your phone using iTunes. Before you update make sure to back up your phone data first.

  • Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
  • Plug in your device to your computer.
  • In iTunes, select your device.
  • In the Summary pane, click Check for Update.
  • Click Download and Update.

iPhone 6 Plus Blurry Rear Camera Pictures

Problem: I own iphone 6 plus gold on ios 8.3. It’s rear camera take clear pics which are close to phone. But as I take pic from 2 feet all the pics are blurry not cleared. My iphone 4 camera takes even better pics than iphone 6 plus. I am in that country where unfortunately there is not an apple store. Please help me and guide me for a good solution. Thank very much.

Solution: There seems to be a lot of people experiencing this same issue. While the most common cause is software related there are instances when this is already caused by a hardware failure. If this is the case then the phone must be checked at an authorized service center.

Follow the troubleshooting steps listed below to resolve this issue. Move on to the next step if the issue persists.

  • Make sure that the camera lens is clean. If you need to clean the lens, use a microfiber cloth. If you see dirt or debris inside the lens, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.
  • Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
  • With iPhone 6 Plus, a metallic case or magnetic lens could interfere with optical image stabilization. If you have a metallic case or magnetic lens attachment, try taking a picture without it. Then compare the quality.
  • Adjust the focus by tapping on the person or object in the preview screen. You’ll see the screen pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as the camera adjusts. In photo mode, try to stay steady when adjusting the focus. If you move too far in any direction, the camera will automatically refocus to the center. In video mode, you can adjust the focus before you begin recording.
  • If the color seems too bright, or you see double-exposures of moving objects, make sure that HDR is set to Auto or Off. Tap HDR at the top of the screen to choose a different setting.

Problem: I am having problem with my iPhone 6 plus running on iOS 8.2. Even on standby mode, it drains about 50% in 4 hours. I already tried putting the phone in airplane mode and that does no better. Could it be a hardware or software problem? Thank you so much for your help. I am looking forward to your response ASAP.

iPhone 6 Plus Takes Too Long to Charge

Problem: I am finding that my phone is taking a long time to charge. It has so far taken 2 hours and 15 mins to get from 18% to 88%

Solution: Because of its higher battery capacity the original iPhone charger which is rated at only 1A seems like it is charging the phone slowly. If you want to charge your phone quickly without having to worry if it will have an adverse effect on your phone then try using the original iPad charger which is rated at 2.1A. This charges your phone more or less twice as fast.

iPhone 6 Plus Does Not Charge

Problem: I just started to get problem with charging my iPhone 6 plus. The battery has run out, but cannot be charged. the same charger is working fine for another iPad device. Any one know what could be the cause?

Solution: Try to connect your phone to its original charger and wait for at least 20 minutes before turning the phone on.

If the phone does not turn on then reset it by pressing both the home and lock buttons for up to 1 minutes, releasing when the Apple logo appears.

iPhone 6 Plus Audio Jack Not Working

Problem: I have had my Iphone for about 4 days now and just the other day I found out that my audio jack does not work. I plugged my headphones in and instead of the music playing through the headphones it just continues to play through my speakers. I have tried several different headphones and I have even tried plugging an AUX cord into it while I was in my car and still nothing. Has anyone else encountered this same issue and if so have you found a way to fix it? Or is this something that I need to fix by taking it to my local apple store?

Solution: You should restore your phone and set it up as a new device. Make sure to back up your phnoe data first. If the problem persists then this may already be hardware related. You should bring the phone back to the store where you bought it from.

Before restoring your phone

  • Turn off Find My iPhone in Settings > iCloud on your device to disable Activation Lock.

iPhone 6 Plus Touch ID Not Working

Problem: My touch id hasn’t been working lately, i updated to ios 8.1 and it still worked, just about 3 days ago it recognizes my finger print about 1 out of 8 times, also when i try to add another finger print it says that it is undetectable, I’ve tried with multiple fingers and other people and it still says it can’t, nothing else seems to be wrong with the phone just this.

Solution: Follow the troubleshooting steps listed below that is aimed at Touch ID related issue. Move to the next step if the issue remains unresolved.

  • Make sure that you’re using the latest version of iOS.
  • Make sure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry.*
  • Cover the Home button completely. Don’t tap too quickly, don’t press down hard, and don’t move your finger while Touch ID is scanning. Make sure that your finger touches the metal ring around the Home button.
  • If you’re using a case or screen protector, make sure it doesn’t cover the Home button or the surrounding ring. If it does, remove the case or screen protector and try again.
  • Tap Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and make sure that iPhone Unlock or iTunes & App Store is on. Also make sure that you’ve enrolled one or more fingerprints.
  • Try enrolling a different finger.
  • If you can’t enroll any of your fingers, take your device to an Apple Retail Store, Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact AppleCare for help.
