Owners of the new iPhone 13 can customize the display settings on their devices to make them look the way they want them to be. The default wallpaper is boring so many users actually want to change them.
Most of us smartphone users want to use wallpapers that often reflect our personality, or we simply want to have something to remind us of the people we love, places we’ve travelled or our achievements.
That’s why having been able to set a new wallpaper on both lock screen and home screen is one of the features you can really appreciate.
Easy Steps To Set Wallpaper on iPhone 13
Switching between default wallpapers and your new wallpapers is pretty easy. You can do such a procedure in less than a minute. You can even use a live photo or your own photos to serve as the wallpaper on either the lock or home screen.
Step 1: To get started, tap the Settings icon.
This will open the Settings app, highlighting the basic and advanced iOS features and settings you can use and manage.
Step 2: Scroll down or up to view more items and then tap Wallpaper.
Another screen opens with the current wallpaper settings.
Step 3: Tap on the preview of the lock screen so you can create and apply animations.
You can also turn on perspective zoom for the current Home screen if you like.
Step 4: There is also an option for you to enable dark mode to dim the wallpaper.
Just toggle the Dark Appearance Dims Wallpaper switch to dim your wallpaper based on the ambient light. But if you simple want to keep the light mode, keep the switch OFF to disable the feature.
Step 5: To change the default wallpaper, tap Choose Wallpaper.
Another screen will launch, offering different types of wallpaper for you to choose from.
Among the available choices are Dynamic, Stills and Live. You can also choose any files from your phone’s media gallery including All Photos, Recents, Selfies, Live Photos, Screenshots and more.
Step 6: To view Dynamic wallpapers, tap Dynamic and then scroll down or up to find a dynamic wallpaper you’d like to use.
Step 7: To view still wallpapers, tap Stills and then choose any from the given still wallpapers.
Step 8: To view live wallpapers, tap Live and then choose any from the available options.
Step 9: Just tap to select your preferred wallpaper and then tap the Set icon on the following screen.
Step 10: If prompted, choose where you want to apply the selected wallpaper to. You can set it to your Lock screen, Home screen, or both.
For this tutorial, let’s just set the new wallpaper to both screens, so tap Both.
Wait for the phone to apply the recent changes.
You can also use any saved picture and make it as the new wallpaper for your iPhone lock screen or home screen. Just tap the folder and then find and select your preferred photo to use.
