A STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO DELETE YOUR NETFLIX VIEWING HISTORY ACCORDING TO THE DEVICE USED TO WATCH
For Desktop or Personal Computers, here’s how to delete Netflix Viewing History:
Step 1: Go to Netflix.com, and Sign In. You can sign in using your email or phone number and even an option to Login with Facebook.
Step 2: Click on the Drop-Down Menu, located at the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Click on the option for Account
Step 4: Look for My Profile section by scrolling down.
Step 5: Click on Viewing Activity. The movies and shows you’ve watched will be displayed along with the date when you’ve watched it.
Step 6: Click on the Hide Icon, looks like a small circle with a slash inside it next to the Report a Problem option
Step 7: After clicking on the Hide icon, it will then be removed and Netflix will stop using the history as its way of recommending you movies and shows.
Note: There is also an option Hide All Button, to hide everything you’ve watched ever since.
For Android Devices, you can delete your Netflix Viewing History by doing these simple steps:
Step 1: Open your Netflix App and Sign In.
Step 2: Locate the three bars located at the bottom right corner of the screen and then navigate to your Account.
Step 3: Tap on the Profile. If you’re sharing your account with another family member or friends and have multiple profiles connected to that account.
Step 4: Tap on Account from the Drop-down Menu. You will then be redirected to Netflix webpage to be able to manage your account.
Step 5: Finally, while at the web page, click on Viewing Activity, again you will be redirected to a web page to be able to remove titles and delete viewing history.
For iOS devices, deleting Netflix viewing history has the same steps as with Android devices. Again, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your Netflix App and Sign In.
Step 2: Locate the three bars located at the bottom right corner of the screen and then navigate to your Account.
Step 3: Tap on the Profile.
Step 4: Tap on Account. A prompt appears “Please go to Netflix on the web to manage your account.
Step 5: While at the web page, click on Viewing Activity, you will again be redirected to a web page to be able to remove titles and delete viewing history
Removing and deleting titles from viewing history of Netflix using an Android and iOS devices have the same steps and results. Given that, you can again use your desktop to manage your Netflix Account using a browser than an Android or iOS app.
