The process of adding limits to certain apps is actually pretty easy and can be done with a few taps. But for that to work, you should know the usual games your children play on your iPhone.

This will launch the Settings app that allows you to change some settings on your device.Scroll down a bit to find Screen Time and once found, tap on it.
This will bring you to the screen where you can change some settings relating to your device’s downtime and content restrictions. At the lower part of the screen, tap App Limits.
This is the screen where you can add limits to app categories you want to manage. Take note that limits reset every day at midnight.Tap Add Limit to proceed.
You will then be brought to the screen showing all the app categories. To add a limit to your child’s gaming habit, tap Games.
It will expand and show you the list of games installed on your iPhone.Put a check beside the games you manage.
You can also just put a check beside Games to select them all at one. When you’re done selecting, tap Next.
It’s located at the top-right corner of the screen. Now set the amount of time you want the games to work.
The limits will apply to all of your devices signed into iCloud with Share Across Devices enabled.Tap Customize Days.

There will be a notification five minutes before the limit is reached. So your child will be warned that the app will no longer work after that.
The app limit applies to all apps and categories in your device. So if there are other apps you want to limit the use of aside from games, then just follow the same procedure.
