Problem: I’m glad I found this. Maybe you can help. So basically I have a strong case on the outside of my phone. I dropped it and it hit my foot then the ground. Landed on the case. It was working fine for about 30+ mins and then while I was playing Pokémon GO it started flickering very bad. You know it seemed like an earthquake. It wasn’t just s flicker. It’s a full out seizure. Oh and the screen is all blue and yellow now. The shaking has fully stopped since I turned the brightness down as low as it can go like it’s doing the limbo. If I turn it back up it fully starts spazzing. I mean we all do if we get too turned up. Especially at the club. Anyways I’m not sure if it’s software related or because I dropped it. Like I said it was working ok for 30 mins then decided to have a seizure. Any insight would help.

Related Problem: Hi, my iPhone 6 was dropped from a height of 80 feet and landed on its back, as you can imagine the back cover was full of dents but fortunately it appeared to be in full working order. After a few days it developed a flicker on the top of the screen that goes away when I apply some pressure. I have also purchased a heavy duty cover for my phone and the problem seems to have eased but the flickering continues at least twice a day. Help please.

Solution: If the phone display flickers after the phone was dropped then chances are the display got damaged by the drop. You should however check if some software glitch is causing this problem by restoring your phone to its original factory condition then set up the phone as a new device. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing this. When the restore has finished don’t install anything in your phone just yet. Try to check first if the issue still occurs. If it does then I recommend that you have the display assembly checked at an authorized service center.
