Managing iPhone XR storage by offloading unused apps

You can actually uninstall applications right from the app drawer but in this method, you can see how much storage a certain app uses. So, you can remove apps that take up so much space selectively instead of just deleting all third-party applications. Here’s how it’s done:

Step 1: From the Home screen, tap Settings.

tap settings 1 5387340

Step 2: Scroll to and tap General.

Step 3: Tap iPhone Storage.

Step 4: As you can see in this screen, you can easily tell how much storage an app is using up. Select an app to view more info.

Step 5: From this screen, you have two options. If you don’t want to uninstall the app completely, you can just Offload its data files. But if you don’t want to use it anymore, then you can offload its files and delete the app itself.

Step 6: Go back to the previous screen and select other apps you want to offload and delete as well.
