1. Netflix
Netflix is a great way that you can watch movies and TV shows offline without Internet. It’s actually a pretty new feature that they added (within the last couple of years), as Netflix hadn’t offered something like that for its app before. You just need to make sure that your subscription tier supports offline movie and TV show downloading!
Once you’ve confirmed that, just head into the App Store, download Netflix, and then log in with your account credentials. Next, find a movie or TV show that you want to download onto your iPhone, tap it, and press the Download button. It’s that simple! However, if you don’t see that Download button, do keep in mind that Netflix only offers this on select titles due to licensing restrictions.

2. Google Play Movies
Google Play Movies is easily the best option for watching movies and TV shows offline and without Internet. You don’t need a subscription to Google Play Movies — you just need to rent a movie or buy a movie or TV series. From there, it shows up in your Google Play library. It’s as simple as tapping the Download button in the thumbnail. Just make sure to wait for each individual movie or show to finish downloading before starting another, as Google Play Movies often has trouble doing a ton simultaneously.
We really like Google Play Movies for offline viewing because their store keeps things fairly on the cheap side. You can rent movies on the cheap (usually at Redbox level pricing), and they’ll often throw free promo codes at you. On top of that, Google Play Movies regularly runs steep discounts on TV shows like Game of Thrones on their store.

3. Amazon Prime Video
Amazon Video is another excellent service to watch movies offline without Internet on iPhone. All you’ll need is a subscription to Amazon Video, or have it bundled in as part of your Amazon Prime subscription. Once you have it, and have it downloaded on your phone, just find a movie or TV show that you want to watch offline, and then under the Video Details section, just press the Download option.

4. iTunes
If you have iTunes on your phone, you can download movies and TV shows onto your iPhone for offline viewing. Just open up the iTunes Store, find a movie or TV show to rent or buy, and then press the download button. It’s super easy!
There is a slight downside to this method, as Apple is pretty strict with content. Once you download it to your phone, you have a 48-hour timer that immediately starts. Once the timer expires, Apple automatically removes the movie or TV show from your smartphone, and then you’ll have to re-download it, and start that timer over again. That said, if you’re watching things from the iTunes Store offline, make sure you do it relatively quickly!
5. Digital Copies
Another way that you can watch movies offline without Internet is with digital copies. If you’ve ever bought a physical DVD or Blu-Ray disc, generally, companies also include a free digital copy with your purchase. This is usually a code on a piece of paper. Follow the on-screen instructions to redeem it, generally through a service like Vudu, and then you’ll have that added to your library in a service like Vudu. From there, you can download the file to almost any smartphone or device for offline playback.
