T-Mobile Now Offering 3% Cashback on Select Purchases with Apple Card

Apple Card has long offered 3% cashback on purchases made using apps like Uber and Uber Eats. American carrier T-Mobile has now joined the list, offering the same 3% cashback when purchasing something in T-Mobile stores using your Apple Card with Apple Pay.

This feature isn’t available for online purchases at this point since T-Mobile doesn’t support Apple Pay on its platforms as of yet. However, the carrier is soon expected to include online purchases as well. This promotion by T-Mobile will officially begin on Friday, September 20.

The cashback is valid if you’re getting a new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, the new Apple Watch Series 5 or the new seventh-gen iPad. You can also fetch the cashback while making one-time bill payments at T-Mobile stores.

It is important to note that all Apple Pay purchases are entitled to a standard 2% return on spending, and this 3% promo is only effective via select retailers and services. Cashbacks are reflected on your Apple Pay app at the end of each day. At this point, you can choose to send it back to your bank account or use it against any other purchases via Apple Cash.

Apple has come up with several ingenious ways to increase adoption of Apple Pay among its users, and promotions like this will go a long way in making that happen. As of now, Apple Pay is only available in a handful of countries, so its reach is somewhat limited compared to a service like Samsung Pay or even Google Pay.

If you’re an Apple Pay and T-Mobile user, we recommend you to check out the fine print of this cashback deal.
