After updating, you may need to reboot your iPhone to ensure that all recent system changes are properly implemented.

And that’s all about downloading and installing new iOS update on the iPhone 12.

Cannot Update iPhone?

There are many factors that can cause software update failure. Among the common culprits include network connectivity issues, server errors and data corruption. In other cases, the problem is on the Apple server. This is usually the case if the server is loaded with requests, causing it to become unavailable at the moment. There are also some instances wherein insufficient storage is to blame. This however isn’t likely the case with the iPhone 12, considering it’s still new.

If you cannot download and install the update and you’re getting an error, read the error message as it often tells  you what went wrong and how to rectify it. Restarting the iPhone can also help, especially if random system glitches are the underlying cause.

Hope this helps!
