iPhone 7 Plus Screen Went Blank Won’t Charge

Problem: Hey, my iphone 7 plus all of a sudden went blank and now wont charge or the screen wont come on it stays blank i look it up and tried to reboot the iphone etc. But still has a blank screen. i was wondering if youse could let me know what’s actually wrong with the iphone? Thankyou.

Related Problem: My iphone 7 plus went dead so i plugged it up and tried to turn it back on multiple times because i needed it urgently and it wouldn’t turn on so out of nowhere it stopped showing the charging icon and still wouldn’t turn on…..I’ve tried all the button pushing. Troubleshooting it didn’t work

Solution: The first thing that you will want to do in this particular case is to make sure that the battery of the phone has sufficient charge. Perform the following troubleshooting steps listed below to charge your phone.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
  • Try charging your phone for at least 20 minutes using a different charging cord and wall charger.
  • If your phone doesn’t charge then check if it charges from a computer USB port.
  • Try to force restart the phone by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button + Volume Down button for 10 seconds.

If the phone still remains unresponsive then try putting the phone in recovery mode then set it up again.

  • Have the latest copy of iTunes running in your computer.
  • Connect your phone to the computer then open iTunes.
  • Force a restart on your phone.
  • When you see the option to Restore or Update, choose Update.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.

iPhone 7 Plus Stuck In Boot Loop

Problem: I have installed the iOS 11 Beta. Then I wanted to downgrade it to the version 10.3.2 of iOS.  I have connected on iTunes and downloaded the ipsw . After that my iPhone 7 Plus got into loop mode. It goes to the iTunes logo screen and I have already tried the forced initiation using the buttons sleep/awake and low volume. It didn’t work. Also I have tried to use the Recboot  and no success. The process to get it restored or updated was also tried, without success… it manages to get to the page where the apple logo appears on the iPhone screen downloading it and then goes back to the iTunes logo and an error on the iTunes page on my Mac.

I read the article and practically tried all:

1) the forcing to restart using the buttons

2) the update on iTunes

3) the restore on iTunes

4) the usage of Recboot

Solution: It looks like you have already performed most of the troubleshooting steps for this particular issue. Some suggestions that I can provide are as follows.

  • Try using a different USB cord when restoring your phone using iTunes
  • Try using a different computer when restoring your phone using iTunes.

If the above steps don’t work then you should bring your phone to the nearest Apple Store and have it checked.
