iPhone 7 Plus Error 4005
Problem: i don’t remember dropping the phone, this happen new years about 2 a.m in the morning. i was out partying at the time and the phone just went black. when i put it onto the charger the apple icon comes on and off, but i can’t turn it on or use the phone. i connected it to itunes to try to reset the phone but it keeps saying unknown error of “4005”.
Solution: To fix the black screen issue of the phone restoring the device using iTunes is a good troubleshooting step. Since you are getting an error 4005 when you do this procedure then you should proceed with the steps listed below.
- Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes on your phone.
- Force the phone to restart by pressing and holding both the Side and Volume Down buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
- Connect the phone to the computer using a different lightning cord.
- When iTunes asks you to update or restore, click Update (not Restore) to reinstall iOS.

Problem: I have an iPhone 7 plus and last night it got stuck on the ‘infinite boot loops’ loop and I tried backing it to the computer and restarting it from the computer. I went through iTunes and everything I tried didn’t work. I got the phone to restart or go back to factory reset with the loading bar this morning but when my computer said the the phone was restarting after the update/factory reset the phone got stuck into the boot loop again. Please help.
Solution: Since you have already tried restoring the phone using iTunes and the issue still occurs then there’s a possibility that this is already a hardware issue in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
iPhone 7 Plus Has Pink Spots On Screen
Problem: Hi I have an iPhone 7 plus and for some unknown reason it’s started to display purple/pink spots on the screen Works fine apart from this Not been dropped or wet Baffled ?
Solution: If your phone has a screen protector installed then you should try removing this as the spots could be caused by the screen protector.
If your phone does not have a screen protector installed then I suggest that you backup your phone data then restore your phone as a new device.
