iPhone 7 Freezes After Update To iOS 11.2.5
Problem: I have just updated to ios 11.2.5, and less than 30 minutes later my phone froze and showed the grey screen for awhile, then went black. i tried to turn it back on but had no response. i connected my phone to itunes and tried to restore from there, but itunes failed to re-download the ios and repair my phone. what do i do now? my phone is still unresponsive.
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to restore your phone in DFU mode using iTunes.
- Download the latest version of iTunes in your computer.
- Connect your phone to your computer and open iTunes.
- Force restart the phone by following these steps. Press and hold the Side and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see connect to iTunes screen.
- When you see the option to Restore or Update, choose Update.
If the issue still persists then you need to bring the phone to the nearest Apple Store and have it checked.
iPhone 7 Stuck In Bootloop
Problem: Hi, my phone has been stuck on bootloop for almost 24 hours. I updated it, then hours later, it just restarted and got stuck on the boot loop. I have tried to update and restore it over 15 times. Talked to apple support and they did not help or neither could figure out the problem. It went back to factory settings twice, then got frozen on the settings, then promptly went back to the boot loop. I have my iTunes and computer all up to date on software. I do not know what else to do.
Solution: Try to follow the troubleshooting steps listed above ( restore your phone in DFU mode using iTunes). If this fails to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to the Apple Store and have it checked.
iPhone 7 Slow To Download Mail
Problem: Hi.. My iPhone 7 is very slow to download mail. It does send and receive but can sometimes take 12 hours. I have been through every troubleshoot on the internet. I have been through the barrage of tests. Before I take my phone to an Apple Tech I just want to know if there are any more tricks or settings that I’m not seeing. My iOS is updated to 11.2. 5. My iPhone 7 is brand new. My wifi works on everything but my iPhone mail app. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.
Solution: You could try deleting the email account from your phone then set it up again. When checking for your mail try doing so while the phone is connected to a different Wi-Fi network.
If the issue persists then you should have this checked at the Apple Store.
iPhone 7 Stuck On Apple Logo
Problem: I have been having issues with my software where my phone would freeze every time i either made or took a phone call, however if i restarted the phone this issue would disappear for a couple of hours. During one restart, my phone refused to turn on and so I put it in recovery mode and restored the iphone. However the phone continues to refuse to switch on. It is stuck on the apple logo and has been charging all day. If you could give me any idea as to what I should do I would greatly appreciate that
