iPhone 6 Stuck In iTunes Logo Issue

Problem: I recently replaced a friends iphone 6 screen (I am not sure which IOS, is at least IOS 9) , after replacing it I attempted to turn it on in which the apple logo showed up for a few seconds, followed by a brief red screen. This continues to happen in a loop. I then held the power & home buttons to reboot the phone a couple times. After no change in result, I decided to return the phone to my friend so he can hold it in his home to see if it eventually turns on after the continuous loops. He notified me that the loop did not stop. He plugged in the phone then a screen came up saying error (he did not tell me error number) & it could not be updated or restored.. i picked up the phone from him a few days later, it now had a screen with the iTunes logo with the plug-in cord saying apple.com/restore .. i took the phone home & plugged it into my computer, it still could not be restored or updated, so I pressed and held the power and home buttons to reboot it a few times. The screen has not changed and is currently showing the iTunes logo & plug-in cord, saying apple.com/restore. Can you please give me a few suggestions as to what I can do to solve this problem? Thank You Very Much, I Really Appreciate It

Solution: For this particular issue you should make sure that your computer is running the latest version of iTunes. You should also use the Apple USB cord to connect the phone to the computer. Connect the phone to the computer then you  need to press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo. You will see the option to restore or update the phone in iTunes. If you don’t see this then this could already be a hardware related problem. I recommend that you bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
