Additional Features and Security
Shared Groups and Security Recommendations
- Shared Groups: You can share a subset of passwords with family or colleagues by creating shared groups. This feature allows you to add people from your Contacts and choose which passwords to share.
- Security Recommendations: The Security Recommendations screen will alert you to logins exposed in known breaches and point out logins with weak passwords, helping you maintain better security.
Autofill and Verification Codes
- Autofill: iCloud Keychain can autofill your login credentials in Safari and other supported browsers. You can also set up logins to autofill verification codes for two-factor authentication.
- Verification Codes: For websites that support two-factor authentication, you can set up iCloud Keychain to autofill the verification codes. This can be configured by scanning a QR code or entering the verification code manually.
By following these steps and understanding the features of iCloud Keychain, you can effectively manage and secure your passwords across all your Apple devices.
