OnePlus 7 Pro

The OnePlus 7 Pro is another excellent alternative to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. This one is equipped with a 6.67-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display. That gives you plenty of screen real estate, as well as a high-resolution that produces unprecedented detail. It keeps text sharp as well, so the text is super easy on the eyes.

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a very nice triple camera setup on the back. It’s got a 48-megapixel main camera unit, as well as a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and then an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. It has a Snapdragon 855 chipset as well, so there’s some serious processing power here as well.

Google Pixel 3a XL

The Google Pixel 3a XL has quickly become one of our favorite smartphones. It’s a mid-range version of the Google Pixel 3, but launched earlier this year, and this phone is a powerhouse.  You get a large 6-inch display, which is plenty of real estate to stay productive. Resolution is high as well, so there is plenty of detail for movies, videos, and text is way easier on the eyes.

One of our favorite features about this one is the fast charging abilities — just 15 minutes on the charger can get you a whole seven hours of use. That allows you to

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 is an excellent alternative to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. If you were looking for a phone that’s nearly a replica of the 11 Pro Max, that’s just what the Galaxy Note 10+ is, but on the Android operating system. This comes with a beautiful display, bringing you already 6.8-inches of a Full HD beauty.

It’s great for watching videos and movies on, and with the high resolution, it keeps text super sharp. And one of the things the Note line is known for — this one is also a productivity powerhouse. It has a S-Pen, which you can use for taking quick notes, drawing, creating spreadsheets, and more.

And, of course, cameras are the number one thing that we look at when considering a phone. And the Galaxy Note 10+ does not disappoint — there are three sensors on here, such as a regular 12-megapixel lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and then a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, which is great for taking photos with excellent field of view. It has a great selfie camera, too.

Samsung Galaxy S10e

Maybe you’re looking for something that’s a little more average or traditional. Manufacturers and brands are doing all sorts of crazy things with their phones these days — like curved screens and massive displays. But what if you want something a little more standard? Enter the Samsung Galaxy S10e.  It’s got a 5.8-inch Infinity Display, so you still get an immersive experience here.

It only comes equipped with a dual-camera, but the Galaxy S10e still takes some professional-level photos. We would say they’re as good as the iPhone 11 Pro Max — when you start adding on more pixels and additional lenses, eventually you start getting diminishing returns. So, the Galaxy S10e is the perfect medium!

Xiaomi Pocophone F1

The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 might be last up on our countdown, but it’s one that you can never go wrong with. This one is very similar to the OnePlus model — flagship phone at consumer-friendly prices. You get a 6.2-inch display, and that is plenty of space for media or productivity. It keeps things looking sharp as well, so watching movies, videos, writing emails, reading articles, and so on is a joy.

It comes with a Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM, so the phone overall is fast, too. That Snapdragon CPU can keep up with just about any app or game, and also brings you some nice fast charging power.

Verdict

As you can see, there are tons of excellent options to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The wonderful thing about smartphones right now is that, whether you get a mid-ranger or a flagship, the overall experience is going to all be similar. Whether you get an iPhone 11 Pro Max or a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, you’re not missing out on anything. Both are excellent phones.
