iPhone 11 Pro Max Comfortably Beats Galaxy Note 10+ in Battery Life Test

A new video uploaded by YouTuber Arun Maini (Mrwhosetheboss) compares the battery lives of current flagships, including the iPhone 11 Pro, the 11 Pro Max, as well as the Galaxy Note 10+ and the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. While the results were unsurprising for the most part, the fact that the iPhone 11 Pro Max has managed to outlast the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, as well as the Galaxy Note 10+, is quite impressive.

It is worth considering that the Mate 30 Pro and the Galaxy Note 10+ feature 4,500 mAh and a 4,300 mAh batteries respectively whereas the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a smaller 3,969 mAh unit. This suggests that Apple has put in a lot of work into iOS 13 to ensure it does live up to the company’s promise of all-day battery life.

However, the iPhone 11 pales in comparison to the Galaxy Note 10+ and the Mate 30 Pro as well as the two iPhone 11 Pro models. It is unclear at this point if this is due to the power-hungry LCD panel or a software glitch that could be fixed with a future update. In terms of hardware prowess, the iPhone 11 comes with a 3,110 mAh battery while the iPhone 11 Pro uses a 3,046 mAh battery.

To summarize, this video test saw the iPhone 11 Pro Max taking the top spot by lasting 8 hours/32 minutes, while the Mate 30 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro settled for the second and third spots with 8 hours/13 minutes and 6 hours/42 minutes, respectively.

At 6 hours and 31 minutes, the Galaxy Note 10+ ended up in the fourth position while the iPhone 11 at 5 hours/2 minutes had to settle for the 5th spot. It goes without saying that all these devices are built to last a day or perhaps more in some cases.
