6 Best LTE Tablets In 2019

Our iPhones are powered by cellular networks, but what about our tablets? Tablets generally aren’t; however, there are a lot of people that could use that cellular connectivity, whether for work or play on the go.

That said, since there aren’t a lot of tablets out there that provide you with LTE functionality, finding one that’s right for you can be difficult. That’s why we compiled this list for you — to show off all of the best LTE tablets in 2019, both on iOS and Android platforms.

So if you’re not sure what’s out there, follow along below and we’ll show you six of the best options. Let’s dive right in.

iPad Pro

The iPad Pro is one of the best tablets that you can get today. One of the highlights of the iPad Pro is the massive display that comes equipped with a large display, as well as support for the Apple Pencil. The iPad Pro is also an excellent choice because it you can use a Type Cover with it, essentially transforming it into a laptop.

Apple’s iPad Pro comes in a Wi-Fi model, but if you don’t mind the additional cost, you can get a cellular version of it as well — and you will need to pay for a cellular plan with your carrier for it to work.

iPad Air

The iPad Pro is meant primarily for highly creative use, as well as for business and enterprise. That’s not everyone’s intention for a tablet, so Apple also has the iPad Air as well. The iPad Air comes in a small package at 10.5-inches in size, but still provides you with some excellent screen real estate and detail.

It has the same A12 Bionic chip that the iPad Pro has, so you can still use the Apple Pencil with this one as well. You do get a different screen type, so media and designs aren’t as sharp and detailed. Everything still looks great on the iPad Air, you just don’t have the upgraded detail of the iPad Pro.

There’s still amazing battery life, bringing you up to ten hours of life on a single charge.

Surface Pro LTE

Android and iOS have a lot to offer, but if you need something with more power, the Surface Pro LTE will be right up your alley. It will actually provide you with the ability to run the apps and programs that you would on a PC or laptop. The Surface Pro is essentially a full blown laptop, but in the form of a tablet. =That makes this one of the best choices for portability.

The Surface Pro can be equipped with a Type Cover, which can essentially transform it into a full-blown laptop with a keyboard. And with USB ports on this, you can add a travel mouse as well. Of course, it supports LTE, too.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

No one really knows why Samsung launcher the Galaxy Tab S5e right before the Galaxy Tab S6, but it’s still quite a performer. Lighter than a pound, you can easily take the Galaxy Tab S5e with you on the go anywhere.

This one has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display. Everything is extremely crisp and clear on this panel, which makes it super enjoyable to watch movies, TV shows, and videos. It also makes reading a little more easy on the eyes.

On top of that, the Galaxy Tab S5e does have LTE support; however, you’ll want to check the network bands on the product page to make sure this will work on your preferred network.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

While the iPad Pro is easily the best LTE tablet that money can buy, some just aren’t huge fans of Apple’s platform. So, if you’re looking for something different, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is the latest tablet from the Korean tech giant that’s worth looking at.

As you might imagine, this one is a direct competitor to the iPad Pro, offering you a gorgeous 10.5-inch display. Apps, games, movies, and TV shows look beautiful on the display, bringing you a crisp and clear image. Text sharp as well, so it’s easy on the eyes for long-form reading. One of the benefits to the Galaxy Tab S4 is that it comes with an S-Pen — that’s a huge advantage over the iPad Pro, where you have to buy the Apple Pencil separately.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019)

Enter, the all-new Samsung Galaxy Tab A. This one has 10.1-inches of real estate, and a decent resolution of 1,200 x 1,920 pixels. It’s not the most crisp display out there, but it does get the job done. And you’ll be able to stream your favorite movies and videos on the go, because this does have LTE support.

The hardware in this latest Galaxy Tab A model is impressive. There’s 32GB of internal storage, and then 2GB of RAM for efficient multitasking. It’s also running  some of the latest Android firmware — Android 9.0 Pie, with the Samsung One UI on top.
