Are you heading out on international travel, or need to add a second SIM to your phone for work or something else? Unfortunately, not all smartphones today have dual-SIM support, which can leave you in a bit of a bind. That might mean that’s time to upgrade your phone to one that does have dual-SIM capabilities.
That’s why we put together this list — to make it easy to show you all of the best phones out there that have Dual-SIM functions. If you follow along with us below, we’ll show you five of our favorites. Let’s dive right in, shall we?
The iPhone XS comes up first on our countdown. We’re all familiar with this phone, being the phone to officially cement in Apple’s new design decision. This comes with the all-screen design, and the beautiful glass back. That said, it’s also one of the best dual SIM phones out there. It comes with a single SIM card slot in the SIM tray, but it also comes with eSim support. The eSIM is actually a global specification that enables remote SIM provisioning of any mobile device, meaning you’ll have to talk with the carrier that you want your second SIM on to get it enabled.
There are only a few countries that support eSIM, but that list is growing quickly.
SIM support aside, the iPhone XS has some of the best hardware available today, allowing you to fly through almost any task, app, or game. And with the big, all-screen display, you can watch some wonderful movies and videos.
iPhone XS Max
We wanted to include the iPhone XS Max on this list as well. The iPhone XS is really nice, but because of the new bezel-less design, it can come off as a little small. That’s why we like the XS Max — as it comes equipped with a much larger screen. It also comes with an even bigger battery, which allows the phone to last for longer off of a single charge.
Naturally, this one actually has the same dual-SIM support as the iPhone XS, giving you the nano-SIM and eSIM support. Apple actually makes it really easier to switch between carriers when dual-SIM is setup, allowing you to make the switch right within the Phone app.
The iPhone XR is one of our favorites. It comes in a smaller package, but at a somewhat normal price point. You won’t be paying anywhere near $1000 like a few of the previous handsets we mentioned. It still comes with a large 6.1-inch display with the Face ID notch. Really, the only “difference” that you’re going to see is the single-lens camera.
Samsung Galaxy S10+
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is worth a mention as well. If you’re wondering what is being offered on the Android side of the fence, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is one of the best that you can pick up today. Naturally, it comes with the latest and greatest hardware inside — a Snapdragon 855 chip — and comes with a large battery that is sure to keep your phone alive well into the night. There’s actually a whole 4,100mAh in capacity here.
Once you add a second SIM card in the dual-SIM slot, you can use the Samsung Galaxy S10+ almost anywhere you go in the world. It allows you to easily switch between carriers, just like the iPhone XS phones. Naturally, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ comes with a beautiful display, giving you some of the best media viewing angles to date.
If you haven’t heard of the OnePlus 6T, you’ve probably been living under a rock. This flagship phone from OnePlus comes with Dual-SIM support, allowing you to use this on different networks during your travels. You get a massive 6.41-inch display with Full HD+ resolution in an Optic AMOLED display.
Watching media on this device is fantastic, as you might imagine. It can literally fly through tasks and apps as well, operating on the Snapdragon 845 processor. There are even choices up to a whopping 10GB of RAM. And with a large 3,700mAh battery, you won’t need to hook this up to a charger until you get home for the night.
As you can see, there are a lot of great dual-SIM phones on our list. Most modern smartphones today are going to come with dual-SIM support, at least flagship models, but it’s always good to double check. We think the Samsung Galaxy S10 is one of the best that you can buy, but any of the new iPhone models will be an excellent choice as well.
