How to make text larger or smaller on Apple iPhone XR

I personally like the text on my Apple iPhone XR, or any smartphone for that matter, smaller to make my screens a little less cluttered. But for people who might have a little problem reading smaller letters, they can also make them larger so they feel comfortable using their phones.

In this post, I will walk you through in making the texts on your iPhone XR smaller and/or larger. There are a couple of ways to do it and it’s very easy to do. Here’s how…

First Method

If you just want to make text slightly larger or smaller, this is the method you use.

1.) From the Home screen, tap Settings.

2.) Scroll to and tap Display & Brightness.

3.) Touch Text Size.

4.) At the bottom of the screen, you can move the slider to the right to make texts larger or to the left to make them smaller.

Second Method

In this method, you can make the text even larger than the previous but it’s under a different menu.

1.) From the Home screen, tap Settings.

2.) Tap General.

3.) Touch Accessibility.

4.) Touch Larger Text.

5.) You can still change the size of the text using the slider at the bottom of the screen. But if you want to make it even larger, toggle the switch at the upper-right corner beside Larger Accessibility Sizes.

6.) Now, you can move the slider farther to the right to make text larger.

That’s pretty much it! You can also watch the video after the break just in case the pictures above don’t make perfect sense.
