How to fix iPhone X wifi issue: wifi keeps disconnecting

Solution: Since you’ve already tried all possible troubleshooting steps that must be done in this situation, you can safely assume that the problem is most likely not fixable on your level. As an end user of an Apple device, there’s only so much that you can do. If your phone was provided by your carrier, you should try to contact them first so they can replace the device. We don’t think this is something caused by a network bug so the most likely option for you is unit replacement. Be sure to back your files up before sending the phone in.

Problem #2: How to fix iPhone X wifi issue: wifi keeps disconnecting

My phone has had issues with staying connected to wifi since i got it. Over the last 6 months my phone has often, numerous times daily, connected and then disconnected randomly from any networks i have joined. It has caused me to spend a fortune on using my data and going over my allowances after just days of renewal and it has gotten progressively worse to the point where now it does not connect to any wifi at all unless i sit there and turn wifi on and off. It will successfully connect maybe 1 in 50 times and even then it disconnects itself after 30 seconds. I have reset my network settings and done all the other suggested troubleshoots. What can I do about it now. 

Solution: Is your phone’s software up-to-date? If it’s not, make sure that you install the latest iOS to date.

Another potential solution that you can try is to factory reset the device. This will return all software settings back to their defaults. Here’s how to do that:

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Reset.
  4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
  5. If prompted, enter your passcode.
  6. Tap Erase iPhone.

Once you’ve factory reset the device, set it up as a new device and not from your backup, then observe how wifi works. Be sure there are no apps installed during this time. If wifi still drops continuously at this juncture, call Apple for a phone replacement.

Problem #3: iPhone X screen flickers and slowly turns to black

I’ve had this issue when I’ve bought my iPhone brandnew from the store about 2 months I’ve started realizing my iPhone screen flickers into black ‘ but not on the whole screen just the corners. Like a burnt screen inside. While this happened a few times and stoped then repaeat the same thing as now it’s flicking black screen in half of the whole screen , the top of my iPhone whereby the microphone and selfie camera is ‘it stated get really hot where I could feel the burn upon my face. My selfie camera now has a tipsy of black covered shade coverd on it , it seems getting worse slowly but very surely . Please help regarding my issue! I don’t want to lose my iPhone experience and through it to trash because of this. Yours sincerely.

Solution: Any screen discoloration including the one you described is not normal, and thus problematic. If your phone was purchased as brandnew, then you should consider getting it replaced. Screen problems can’t be fixed by tweaking the software so the best thing that you can do is to either have the phone screen repaired or the entire unit replaced.
