iPhone 8 Plus Is Not Charging
Problem: Yesterday I bought the iPhone 8 Plus product red and I set it up and everything is working fine till I had to charge it. When I connected the charger my phone was a 3% but then slowly decreased to 1% and it was at 1% for about 2 hours. When I went to sleep i put it for charging and woke up about 3 hours later to see it was only charged 57% and later woke up to 97%. So then i proceeded to restart my new phone and it showed that it was at 100% so I assumed the problem was fixed but now I’m trying to charge my phone but the battery percentage is staying the same. Please let me know if there is any viable solution that could help fix this it would be very helpful because i do not want to take a brand new phone to Apple store. Thank you for you time.
Solution: You should try using a different charging cord and wall charger to charge the phone as the problem could be caused by a faulty charger. Make sure to clean the charging port of the phone first using a can of compressed air before charging it.
In case the same issue persists then I suggest that you have this checked at the Apple Store as this might already be caused by a faulty hardware component.
