#Apple is a company best known for its #iPhone models. Last year the company released the #iPhone7Plus which became quite a hit among consumers. This model ditched the 3.5mm audio port and physical home button. While some consumers hated this others loved the design change. Some of the outstanding features of this phone that a lot of people are raving about are its waterproofing, dustproofing , and dual rear camera features. Although this is a solid performing phone that does not suffer from issues there are still instances when problems can occur which we will be addressing today. iPhone 7 Plus Keeps Freezing
Problem: Hi, I have the iphone 7+ and it was working just fine until I updated my phone to iOS 11 and that’s when my phone started doing crazy things, so the other day I put in my headphones and the volume on my phone went up instead of in the earphones and every time I get on FaceTime there is a glitch like keep repeating the same thing over again, and when I try to call on regular phone it freezes and I can’t hang up or I can’t put it on speaker or mute it, so I was assuming it was my microphone messing up but it’s more than my microphone because every time I try to record on camera, Snapchat, etc., it freezes and won’t move and when I reset my phone it stays on the apple screen for a long time and then I keep cutting it off and on until the phone comes back on, I have rebooted and lost all of my pictures just to fix my phone and it still hasn’t worked , should I take it to my service provider or Apple ? Or what should I do?
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to restore the phone in DFU mode using iTunes.
- Turn off the phone then connect it to a computer using a Lightning cable, make sure that iTunes is running.
- Press and hold down the power button on the phone for three seconds.
- With the power button still held down, press and hold the volume down button, and keep holding both for 10 seconds. The screen should remain blank throughout.
- Release the power button, but keep holding the lower volume button for about 5 seconds. The screen should remain blank throughout.
- If you performed the previous steps correctly and your phone’s screen remained blank, a dialog prompt should appear on your computer saying “iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes.”
- Restore the phone
If the problem still occurs after performing the steps listed above then you will need to bring the phone to the nearest Apple Store and have it checked.
iPhone 7 Plus Keeps Rotating to Landscape Mode
Problem: iPhone 7 Plus keeps rotating to landscape mode while holding the phone. Will randomly move back to portrait but then all of a sudden back to landscape…. put on screen lock and stays but I want to rotate only when I turn my phone.
Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this particular case is to force restart the phone. To do this just press and hold the power and volume down buttons until the screen turns off. Release the buttons when you see the Apple logo. Check if the issue still occurs once the phone has started. In case it does then proceed with backing up your phone data then do a factory reset.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to the nearest Apple Store and have it checked.
iPhone 7 Stuck In Apple Logo
Problem: I got the iPhone 7+, it was doing fine turning on but then it started flashing the Apple logo on and off so I tried resetting it but the connect to iTunes screen only lasted a second, when it is plugged it the Apple logo comes on and off it won’t cut on. When it’s unplugged it won’t do anything no matter what buttons I press.
Solution: The best way to fix this problem is to restore your phone in DFU mode using iTunes. Refer to the steps indicated on the first problem which we have addressed above. If this doesn’t fix the problem then this is most likely a hardware issue already in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
iPhone 7 Plus Shuts Off Then Reboots
Problem: Hey to whoever is reading this. a day ago I decided to charge up my iPhone fully to a 100%. I didn’t really it much that day cause I had worked. I came home used it and I noticed it stayed on 100% the whole time I ignored it and went to sleep. fast forward to the next day I go to pick up my iPhone and it seems like it is out of charge the screen is black and wont turn on, so I plug it in charge. it then turns on and says 1% then after a couple seconds jumps to 100% then shuts off and reboots. I tried rebooting the phone and also unplugging the battery and plugging it back in. do you think its a battery problem? or is it something serious that I will have to take in to apple. I have only had the phone for a couple months now since september
Solution: The best way to fix this problem is to restore the phone software in DFU mode using iTunes. Once this is done check if the issue still occurs. If it does then the problem is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
