In this case, rebooting the wireless router or modem can rectify the glitch and help restore your wireless connection. This process is also dubbed as power cycle by most ISP tech people and here’s how it’s done:
- Turn off your wireless router or modem. To do so, locate the Power button then press it until the lights on the network device turns off.
- While it’s completely powered off, unplug it from the power source then leave it unplugged for about 30 seconds.
- After the elapsed time, plug it back into the power source.
