iPhone 7 Screen Is Black
Problem: My iPhone 7 screen is black, I have followed your troubleshooting page and even got a few messages from iTunes saying I must either Update or Restore my phone. I tried updating, that didn’t work, so I reset my phone. Upon restoring the screen is still black, however I do have info on the iphone through itunes such as battery life and serial number. This is all happening the day after I got my screen replaced from Monster Buyback. Keep in mind my iPhone worked ALL day last night, and upon waking up this morning I had no display. I will take it to Monster Buyback however, in the meantime I would like to try to resolve this issue because I have absolutely no display on my phone.
Solution: Since you have already performed our suggested troubleshooting steps for this particular issue then this is most likely a hardware related problem already which might be caused by a faulty replacement display. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone back to the service center and have it checked.
iPhone 7 Will Not Switch On
Problem: Good Day my iPhone 7 turned off last night and since then I couldn’t switch it on I’ve tried holding in the Volume Down button and the Sleep button didn’t work then I charged it through the night checked it again still nothing this morning . I also tried to connect it to itunes to back it up and restore and update it but it did not recognize the phone . The phone didn’t get any water damage or fell so there is no explanation to why it doesn’t want to switch on .
Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this case is to make sure that the phone battery has sufficient charge by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in it is removed.
- Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes.
- If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
- Turn on the phone.
If the issue persists then you will need to bring this to a service center and have it checked.
iPhone 7 No Internet Even If Connected To Wi-Fi
Problem: Hello, I am having an issue with my 2 month old iPhone 7, running the most updated iOS. My iPhone displays it is connected to wifi via the icon in the upper left. Though, when I go to send an iMessage, or go on an app such as Instagram or Safari; nothing loads. I have tried resetting my phone, resetting the networks and forgetting the network. What else would I be able to do? I am unable to restart the router as it is my works. My other co workers are able to use wifi on their phones without issues. What else can I do?
Solution: Have you tried checking if the same issue occurs when the phone is connected to a different Wi-Fi network? If the problem does not occur then the issue is with the work router in which case you will have to inform the IT department about this matter.
iPhone 7 Stuck In Apple Logo Loop
Problem: I’m not sure what IOS version I have but my phone died and the apple logo just keeps flashing then black screen then apple logo in a loop. I held the volume down button and power button and it goes to an itunes screen. Then I hold them again and it starts back up for like 5 seconds then dies again. And the cycle repeats. I don’t know what to do now.
Solution: For this particular problem you should try restoring the phone software in DFU mode using iTunes.
- Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer, making sure you use a computer that has administrator privileges.
- Reboot your computer.
- Disable your antivirus and firewall.
- Launch iTunes.
- Connect the USB cord to a USB port directly on the computer (not a USB hub). Do not connect to the phone.
- On the phone hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time for exactly 10 seconds, then release the SLEEP button but continue holding the HOME button. If you see an Apple logo appear you held both buttons for too long. Start over.
- While still holding the HOME button connect the dock cable to the phone.
- The phone should appear in iTunes in Recovery mode. This may take up to a minute. When it appears release the HOME button and the phone should restore.
If the issue persists then you should have this checked at a service center,
