Apple iPhone SE Network Disappears Issue & Other Related Problems

The #Apple #iPhoneSE is a familiar phone for those who are closely following the various iPhone models being released. This device basically uses the body of the Phone 5/5S yet has the hardware specifications of the iPhone 6S. The reason why this phone exists today is because there is still a huge demand for the compact iPhone 5S even though it was first released in 2013. Apple attributes its popularity to the 4 inch screen of the phone which is why they retained the screen real estate for the SE but then made its specs beefier. Although this is a solid phone there are instances when certain issues can occur which we will be addressing today. In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will tackle the iPhone SE network disappears issue & other related problems.

iPhone SE Network Disappears

Problem: hi, I have iPhone SE 64GB Silver edition. Recently I had network problems. I can describe it as: my network disappears. Even the operator name disappears which is written on top left corner. After 5-7 sec network comes back then it continues like this. Later I founded that my smartphone gets hot. When I use wifi connection does not happen frequent so I can have my phone calls. But when cellular data is switched on network  disappears. So I cannot have phone calls.

I have done several things to solve this problems

– reset

– go back to factory settings

– downgrade ios from 10.3.3 to 10.3.2

– install ios 11 beta 4

If you help about this issue I will be very thankful

Solution: Since you have already performed most of the software related troubleshooting steps which doesn’t fix the problem then it’s time to take a different approach. Try removing the SIM card of the phone then insert a different SIM card in it. Try to check if the network still disappears. This is one way to check if the problem is caused by a faulty SIM card.

You can also insert your SIM card in another phone then check if the same issue occurs on this other phone.

In case the issue persists then this is most likely a hardware related problem already. Have you dropped your phone recently or got it wet? This might damaged some component in the phone which could lead to this problem. I recommend that you bring the phone to a service center so that it can be thoroughly checked.

iPhone SE Camera Not Taking Sharp Photos

Problem: Phone Model: iPhone SE

Date Purchased: On My Birthday May 27th 2016, from Apple Harrods

Memory: 64gb

Photos: around 6,000

Apps: 200

Videos & Songs: 0

ONLY 1 Problem: My iPhone SE is not taking sharp & bright photo/pictures, short word (not what I’m expecting from 12mp camera). I’ve been comparing from the iPhone SE demo models in the apple stores, and their iPhone SE’s looks more brighter & clearer than mine, yes I’ve adjusted the brightness to full & checked the camera lens too. sometimes the camera goes blank & black screen when i turn it on. I’ve restored from my old iPhone 5s. should i set up as an new iPhone & then restore my photos back from my macbook air? what should i do? is it an camera fault? or restored from my old iPhone 5s camera? or should i set up as a new iPhone? or should i pop into an apple store and get it fixed? my camera is taking dark & dull photo & vids

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to clean the camera lens using a microfiber cloth. Make sure to remove any smudges or dirt that might be present in the lens.

If the issue persists then you should backup your phone data then restore your phone as a new device. Immediately check if the same issue occurs once the phone has started.

Should the above steps fail to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

iPhone SE Freezes Not Turning On

Problem: Hi, I have an iPhone SE that froze last night and will not turn on. I was using the Messenger app and the screen froze and darkened before going completely black. It was at about 40% battery when it froze. I wasn’t going through an update at the time of the crash, only using Messenger. I’ve only had this phone for about one month. I bought it new from a Verizon store and it has not been dropped at all. It has not sustained any water damage. The charging port is fine. When I plug it into a charger, the phone heats up like it’s charging but the screen stays black. I have tried the soft reset many times and the phone doesn’t respond at all. Is there anything else I can do before taking it to the Apple store?

Solution: What you should do first in this case is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air making sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port. Proceed with pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo. If the phone does not turn on then try charging it first for at least 20 minutes using its original charging cord and wall charger.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
