iPhone 7 No Service
Problem: I recently purchased an iPhone 7 and the problem is it regularly shows no service and I can’t receive calls. A few things: 1. It is brand new – definitely no damage 2. If I take the SIM card out and put it in my iPhone 6 it works 100% 2. There is signal on my husbands IPhone 6 and now 7 and on my old iPhone 6 in the same area where it shows no service on my iPhone 7. 3. It often seems to be in the locked mode that it shows No service and when I use it it gets service. 4. It has been sent in to Vodacom and to their advanced repair center etc etc. And the sent it back saying just a software upgrade but no improvement. 5. I have done all the reboots, renew settings in store with a technician. 6. No signal problem seems to be worst in low signal area. Please please help.
Solution: It looks like several troubleshooting steps have already been performed on this phone. Several people have been experiencing this very same problem which started late last year. The reason why this is happening is because the radio signal gets turned off on the phone. To make sure that this is not caused by a software bug check the software version that your phone is running on. Make sure that it is on the latest version.
You should also try using a different SIM card on your phone to eliminate the possibility of this being caused by a SIM issue.
One last troubleshooting step that you can perform is a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then I suggest that you bring your phone to the nearest Apple store and have it checked.
iPhone 7 No Service After Turning Off Airplane Mode
Problem: Hi im using iphone 7. But im facing problem in network . If i put mobile in airplane mode after when i off airplane mode network will not come. It will show no service. After i have to restart phone to get net work. Every time it happening like that. I have updated software also but no use. Please give feedback. Thank you.
Solution: For this particular problem you should backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Setup your phone as a new device once this is done then don’t install any apps yet. You need to check first if the problem still occurs. If it does then this could already be a hardware related problem in which case you will need to have your phone checked at the nearest Apple store.
iPhone 7 Is Running Slow
Problem: I have the Iphone 7 and it is running super slow. It takes for ever for anything to load whether it’s on the internet or I am on IG, etc and that is even if it boots at all. It takes a long time or at all to load directions on my google maps. All of this started once I uploaded the upgrade on my phone and it continues to get worse. My phone also freezes, won’t hang up calls sometimes and issues such as these. I have rebooted my phone, turned off notifications, my location on all my apps, and stuff like this in hopes of improving performance. Nothing seems to be working so I am wondering if it is my phone in general……. any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Solution: There are several reasons that can cause your phone to run slow. The common factors include a buggy app that you installed, several apps running simultaneously in the background, or even a glitch in the phone software. The first thing that you need to do to fix this problem is to force a reset on your phone. To do this just press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo. If the issue still occurs after this then you will have to perform a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. When the phone starts make sure to set it up as a new device then check if the problem still occurs. If it does then bring your phone to the Apple store and have it checked.
