iPhone 7 MMS Message Not Delivered
Problem: Unable to send MMS to group, and getting “Not Delivered” in Red color with “i” icon in Red color to. Need help. I am using ultra.me and have APN settings done and I can see MMS Messaging is also Turned on in General >> Messages
Solution: An MMS message is the preferred messaging choice if you are sending photos to someone who is not using an iPhone. Most carriers require that you have an active mobile data subscription since these messages are going to be sent using the data network. It is thus best to first check if the mobile data switch of your phone is turned on. You should also make sure that you are getting a good data signal from the network.
Try restarting your phone then send an MMS. If you are still unable to send an MMS then you should try resetting the network of the phone by going to Settings – General – Reset Network Settings. Once this is done try sending out an MMS again.
iPhone 7 Has Text Notifications But No Message Appears
Problem: My message tab shows that I have messages, but when I click on it, nothing shows up. I can not text anyone. New texts do pop up on the screen, however, I can’t open them or find them once they disappear. I followed all the troubleshooting tips on the web site-turning LTE off, shut off texting & MMS, reboot, etc. No luck. I use my phone for work-student generally contact me through texting-frustrated (never had so much trouble with my iphone before–this is my 3rd).
Solution: If rebooting the phone does not work then this could already be caused by a software glitch. If this is the case then I recommend that you backup your phone data then restore your phone as a new device.
iPhone 7 Not Receiving Text From Premium Numbers
Problem: Got the 7 just Friday. So I receive and send iMessages. It’s others that are not being received. Such as a text to recover a password word i.e. Snapchat, Yahoo. I recently I went to lunch and the hostess takes your phone number to text when your table is ready. I never received a text even tho she did send one. I’ve done every troubleshooting suggestion. Even restored phone as new. Need some help please.
Solution: If you already restored your phone and the issue still occurs then this could be a network related problem. Try to contact your carrier regarding this matter.
iPhone 7 Phantom Typing
Problem: iPhone 7: on email and texting, it does “phantom” typing–adds names in to “To” field, skips to another part of the screen, adds letters where they don’t go. My iPhone 6 did this, I did a factory reset, no improvement. My provider said it was because I was almost out of space. So I got a new phone, a 128 with plenty of space. Still doing it. Also sends things before I hit “send”. It also makes calls while I’m not even touching it–and logs onto websites. Suggestions? I’ve taken it back to my provider twice ( verizon) and no help.
Solution: Does the issue occur when you are charging the phone? If it does then you might want to replace the charger. If the issue occurs irregardless if the device is charging or not then follow the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clean the screen of the phone using a microfiber cloth. If you have installed a screen protector then you should remove it.
- Reboot your phone.
- Backup your phone data then restore your phone as a new device.
If the issue still persists then I suggest that you have this checked at a service center.
