iPhone 6S Plus Is Freezing
Problem: Hello, i have a problem on my iphone . it freezes every 5-10 minutes and on the top of the screen it has like a grey coloured twitching thing that moves. once the phone is frozen it opens apps on its own. i don’t know what the problem is. i went to a store and they thought it was the connector, so they fixed the connector and it still has the same issue, so now they think that the motherboard is the problem. please help me with this issue. i don’t want to spend like $800 buying a new phone when i just bought this phone 6 months ago
Solution: Whenever your phone is experiencing freezing issues it’s always best to start troubleshooting the phone software first. Listed below are the troubleshooting steps that you need to perform for this particular problem. Once you have performed a step try to check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you will need to move to the next step.
- Try restarting your phone. To do this just press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off. Once this is done press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again to turn on the phone
- Try resetting the phone by pressing and holding the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Backup your phone data then restore your phone and set it up as a new device.
If the above steps fail then this could already be a hardware related issue probably caused by a damaged internal component. You will need to have this checked at a service center.
iPhone 6S Plus Not Charging
Problem: Hi, I left my iphone to charge overnight but when l get up the next morning it was not charge at all. Funny thing was, it had the lightning bolt showing but it wasn’t charging. After trying 3 different charges none would charge it. There is nothing wrong with any of the charges. Now it out of battery and when l hold the sleep and home button together l get the empty battery thingy and it looks like its charging but it only lasts 4 seconds. It does this twice and them it disappears. Please help
Solution: If your phone does not charge you should try cleaning the charging port first using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed as this could interfere with the charging process. Next, try using a different charging cord and wall charger to charge your phone. If possible, use an original Apple or Apple certified cord and charger.
Should the issue persist then you need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
