iPhone 6 Stopped Charging
Problem: My phone stopped charging out of the blue, cable was fine as it worked with another iPhone 6. Battery was acting up and would cut the power at 30% so i changed the battery. The problem was still not solved. No dirt inside of the charging dock, so though to changed the dock. everything still working fine except my iPhone was still not charging. Last thing i could think of was that it could maybe be software related. I put my iPhone in DFU Mode and tried to connect it to my computer but still nothing. Any suggestions? Best regards!
Solution: If the charging cord and charger works with another device then start the troubleshooting by inspecting the charging port of the phone. Is there any dirt or debris present? If there is then clean the port using a can of compressed air. If the phone still does not charge and is not recognized by your computer then this could be caused by a damaged charging port or a faulty internal component.
The best way to proceed in this scenario is to bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
iPhone 6 Turned Off While Being Charged
Problem: So today this morning I went to on social media to see what’s happening and what not. Then my phone just died out of nowhere while it was being charged. Could this be due to overcharging? I mean I’ve had this phone for at least two years now. And there’ll be another issue as well in terms of battery percentage. Whenever I’m using my phone for a while then look at my battery it shows that it’s still at 100% and so I assume that it doesn’t need to charge but in reality it dies like 5 min after while it shows that it dies at 100%. What should I do?
Solution: It looks like the battery might already be faulty since you mentioned that the percentage goes down in just 5 minutes. You should try having the battery of your phone replaced then check if this fixes the problem.
iPhone 6 Turns Off Unexpectedly
Problem: The phone turned off unexpectedly. I pressed the power button and the low battery sign appears. -I plugged it into the charger and left it there. After a couple of minutes, I heard it vibrating so I assumed that it has turned on again. -After 30 minutes I tried to use the phone but it was not working at all. – I tried to hard reboot it but nothing. Hold it power and home buttons for 30-40 sec but nothing. -I plugged it in on my computer and iTunes. Itunes recognises that there is an iPhone 6 device connected but says the phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored (though, the screen appears to be black). -I hit the restore and update button. iTunes is extracting the software. After it finishes, the iPhone’s screen flashes for a first time and the apple logo appears with the spinning wheel (not the cable icon) but the spinning wheel never spins as it is frozen. Itunes says “waiting for iphone” but nothing happens. Iphone appears to be frozen. After 10-15 minutes a message says that iPhone could not be restored(error 4005).
Solution: The error message that you are getting means that itunes is having a problem recognizing your phone. The recommended troubleshooting steps for this particular problem are as follows.
- Make sure that your computer has the latest iTunes software running.
- Try to force your phone to restart by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds until the Apple logo appears.
- Connect your phone to the computer using a USB cord.
- Try updating your phone.
- If the issue still occurs try using a different computer to restore your phone.
If the above steps fail to fix the problem then I recommend that you bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
iPhone 6 Does Not Turn On
Problem: My phone suddenly shuts down while I’m using it yesterday… And now it couldn’t be turn on again , I tried holding the lock & home button but still my phone didn’t turn on . And before that happens , at the back of my phone had some rattle sound when I shake it . Could it be the battery problem ? Is it time to replace the battery ? Please help me and reply asap !! Thank you so much
Solution: The noise you hear could be a loose component inside the phone. Try charging your phone for at least 20 minutes using a charger that’s known to work. If the phone still does not turn on then I suggest you bring this to a service center and have it checked.
