iPhone 6S Plus Apps Not Updating Or Downloading
Problem: apps won’t update or download… I tried all of the tips in your troubleshooting section and nothing is working. have since restarted many many many times as well. logged in and out of app store and iCloud. different wifi networks, etc. etc. whatever the issue is, it also seems to be affecting my typing. keyboard locks up when trying to type texts, but not sure if it’s limited to texting as it seems to be happening when trying to email as well. acts a little like it does when the network gets bogged down with trying to update too many apps at once, even though I have since disabled the auto update feature. I have a 128GB phone with plenty of room to spare, but have tried removing some more just in case. still not working. have not tried completely resetting my phone as I haven’t had time to back it up first. The last time I tried backing up to iCloud it was unable to do that as well. PLEASE HELP!
Solution: Since you have already isolated the network connection as a possible cause to this problem then the best thing you can do right now is to restore the device to its original factory settings. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing this procedure. Since you are having a problem backing up your data using iCloud I suggest you use iTunes to backup your data to your computer.
Once the restore is complete try to setup your phone as a new device first then check if the issue still occurs.
