iPhone 6S Plus Battery Life Is Too Short Issue
Problem: Mine is an iPhone 6s Plus 128gb. Less than 1 week old. I noticed the battery life is too short. I have to charge everyday and took about 3-4hrs before it got fully charge using the wall adapter included. Almost all my notifications are off, even iCloud. And I’m just using it mostly to check Facebook and Instagram. When I’m browsing the safari via wifi connection, battery percentage decreases every couple of minutes or so. Solution: There are many factors that can affect the battery usage of the phone. The first and foremost is if the device has several apps that constantly access the Internet even when you are not using the phone. Then there’s also the network related factor where if the signal of the network is not great in your area the phone will use more power to boost the phone antenna to gain a better signal.
The first thing that you should do is to check if the network signal is strong in your area. If it is then I suggest you backup your phone data then restore your phone to its factory condition then set it up as a new device. One you have finished setting up the phone do not install anything yet or restore your data. Observe your phone first if the issue still occurs. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by an app you installed or by some form of corrupt data.
If however the problem still occurs even after setting up your phone as a new device then the battery of your phone could be bad. I suggest you bring your phone to the nearest Apple Store and have it checked.
