The #AppleWatch didn’t exactly receive the response that #Apple had initially expected with returns rate said to have been very high initially. However, there’s no denying that Apple has successfully managed to convince plenty of buyers about the potential of the Apple Watch as is evident from a new sales figure that’s popping out courtesy of research firm Canalys.
According to this report, Apple’s latest wearable has managed to sell 7 million units since going live. An analyst said – “After experiencing significant supply chain constraints early on, Apple managed to overcome its production struggles with the Apple Watch and is building momentum going into Q4.”
Bear in mind that this figure cannot be confirmed as Apple is yet to give out the details officially. However, given that the sales figure was said to have touched a little over 4.2 million back in June, we won’t be surprised if this number is accurate. In any case, it’s quite clear that the Apple Watch has been more successful than any of its competitors in the market, which in itself is a major moral victory for Apple.
