Apple seemingly set to break the 10 million pre-orders record with the iPhone 6s

Apple iPhone 6s - 6s Plus

#Apple held a new record for the pre-order of the #iPhone6 and the 6 Plus last year when over 10 million users expressed interest to get the device. Following the launch of the #iPhone6s and the 6s Plus last week, the company is now anticipating the pre-order count to beat last year’s figure.

Apple officially opened up pre-orders for the iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus a couple of days ago on the 12th of September, although it’s not too late to get yourself on the list.

Apple has always seen increasing demand for its flagships year after year, with last year seeing a significant rise given that Apple had finally given in to industry pressure and released bigger iPhones.

In an official statement, the company said – “Customer response to iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus has been extremely positive and preorders this weekend were very strong around the world.”

The iPhone 6s Plus has supposedly seen stronger interest this year, with the company no longer being able to take pre-orders in several parts of the world due to the increased demand. The smartphone will begin shipping to customers on or after September 25, which is the day the two flagships will be officially available.
