Although #Android users are pretty loyal with their support for the platform, there’s simply no denying that a lot of customers are constantly switching over to iPhones. And now to make it easier, #Apple has just released an application on the Android app hub (Play Store) known simply as ‘Switch to iOS‘. This is also officially the first Android app from Apple, which is also a milestone in itself.
To get started, users will have to open the app on their Android smartphone and enter the 10 digit code that they find after tapping the “Move data from Android” option in your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
You can transfer contacts, photos, videos and even some free apps. The apps that are available will be automatically added to your iTunes App Store wish list for you to download later, so it’s a convenient and hassle free process all the way through. The app is a free download for Android users and can be downloaded right away.
To transfer the content between the two devices, both apps use a private network under the WiFi connection that the two devices are using, which means it’s pretty secure.
