With the iPad Pro said to be in the making for quite some time now, there has been some questions about when the device will break cover. And today, some new evidence has been uncovered which suggests that the arrival might not be far away.
According to a glimpse of the new iOS 9 keyboard layout, Apple has made some crucial changes to the keyboard, while subtly hinting at the arrival of a larger iPad in the future. This was cleverly spotted by developer Steven Troughton-Smith and revealed on Twitter.
The screenshot you see above shows that the keys can scale up to a larger keyboard, thus hinting that a larger iPad is incoming. The symbols keyboard now conveniently fits all of them in one keyboard view, saving you the trouble of checking the third keyboard pane for symbols.
Overall, it seems like Apple is finally on track to announcing the iPad Pro, although we’ve been waiting for quite some time now. The Cupertino based giant has been dropping some evident hints about the arrival of the iPad Pro, with the new split view multi tasking feature from iOS 9 being one of the most obvious ones.
Would you like a third addition to the iPad lineup after the iPad Air and the iPad Mini?
