Samsung recently unveiled its latest flagship smartphone at the Mobile World Congress which is being held right now at Barcelona, Spain. The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be the successor to the Galaxy S4 and will come with improved specs and new features.
The company announced that the Galaxy S5 will be arriving in the U.S. market this coming April 11 and will be available in most carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and MetroPCS.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has several features that make it quite attractive. It is IP67 certified which means it is water and dust resistant and can even be immersed in water up to 3 feet without it getting damaged.
Its camera also has a fast auto focus response time of only 0.3 seconds and comes with a real-time HDR feature which shows the HDR effect o photos and videos live in a preview.
It also has a fingerprint scanner built into its home button. This scanner can be used to unlock the device or even protect certain files in the phone from being accessed by unauthorized people.
A heart rate monitor is also included which makes use of a sensor at the back of the device to measure the blood flow in your finger.
Other nice features include a Download Booster which makes use of LTE and Wi-Fi for faster download speeds which can reach up to 600-650 Mbit/s. There’s also a power saving mode that doubles the battery life while shutting down most services of the device that are not being used.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available in charcoal black, shimmery white, electric blue, and copper gold and is expected to cost the same as when the Galaxy S4 was released.
