If you haven’t moved away from the Droid RAZR M on Verizon, the carrier will soon have an OTA update for you. Unfortunately the smartphone isn’t getting an upgrade to Android 4.2, or better yet, 4.4 KitKat. No, this is just a common maintenance update.
In fact, this maintenance update isn’t anything special, as a whole not hasn’t changed. You can check out what’s changed via the image change log below.
This update does raise a question — does Motorola have plans for releasing a newer Android version for the Droid Razr M? Well, they haven’t announced plans, and considering there’s newer Droid phones available, Motorola may have their focus on their newer devices rather than last year’s Razr M.
