Smart cameras are hot items these days, especially given the fact that the market is becoming so saturated with them, thus causing prices to come down more and more. What makes smart camera devices so great is the fact that, similar to a smart phone, they allow for the user to take professional grade photographs and immediately upload them to things like social media.
Panasonic is rolling its new device, the Lumix DMC-FZ70, which comes equipped with an F/2.8-5.9 telephoto lens that gives a range from 20 mm wide-angle to 1,200 mm (60X) optical zoom. It makes for a great low-light and long-zoom photography. Its optics are backed up with a 16.1-megapixel CMOS sensor that can grab images in bursts of 9 fps at full resolution, and grab video at 1080/60i. Dolby Digital backs up the camera built in stereo microphones. Panasonic has not yet revealed what the price will be.
