Amazon’s latest Kindle Fire HD, together with the original Kindle Fire tablet will soon become available in the United Kingdom, according to a leading gadget retailer in the UK.
Carphone Warehouse recently revealed that both Amazon tablets will begin shipping in the United Kingdom by Thursday, 25th of this month. The retailer however, did not mention about the exact pricing of these products by then.
Amazon Bestseller Model
Amazon Inc. on Monday said that its latest 7-inch Kindle Fire HD is so far the bestseller model among other products on the company’s website since it went on sale over a month ago. While the actual sales numbers were not disclosed, a company spokesman said the top-seller status was based on unit sales.
Amazon’s state-of-the-art 7-inch Kindle Fire HD is aimed at Google Nexus 7 and Apple’s iPad mini, which has just launched in the UK. In order to prove its grit to contend with the iPhone-maker’s newest “mini” masterpiece, Amazon is now fetching its state-of-the-art HD tablet in the UK as well.
Kindle Fire HD Features

Free Skype video calls are also supported, with front-facing HD cam. Free unlimited cloud storage is also available for users to store all their Amazon content.
Prime features are also embedded, including Kindle FreeTime (personalized tablet feature for kids), Prime Instant Video (unlimited, instant streaming of movies and TV shows from over 120,000 titles) and Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, where owners can borrow books, including 100 current and former best sellers of New York Times, available for free and without due dates.
Preorder for the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD is also accepted on Amazon-UK website, in which preorder price is £159.00. The release date for the gadget’s UK debut, which is set on October 25th, is also posted on the site.
United Kingdom was among the largest markets that had apparently missed out on the first Kindle Fire models. If Amazon’s 25th announcement is precise, then this would be a chance for UK consumers to finally get a share of the original device and try it out of themselves.
