iPhone 6 Won’t Turn On

Problem: iPhone 6 kept beeping when put on charge won’t turn on. Changed the charging port iPhone stopped beeping but still won’t power up. I have tried new screen still no joy.  When charging the battery gets really hot but phone won’t turn on. Any suggestions

Solution: The battery getting hot while charging is a sign that current is passing through the device. The heat however is a bad sign as it could be caused by a grounded connection. I suggest you have the phone checked at an authorized service center. This device has to be opened and each component has to be carefully examined for any failures.

iPhone 6 Continuous Restarting Loop

Problem: Recently, my iPhone 6 has been going on the fritz. For some reason or another, the phone has entered this continuous loop of restarting itself. I’ve completely restored the phone back to factory settings, erased everything and tried almost everything but bring it into the Genius Bar. I’ve always had an otterbox commuter case on it and has never been close to any water. It hasn’t been dropped to the point where it has damaged anything, but I’m afraid that it might’ve may be dislodged something inside the phone. Ever since the wipe, I haven’t been able to use the phone as it turns on and off randomly. It has also, at one point, gotten extremely hot and turned off completely. HELP! I’m not sure what to do. I suspect that a cable might’ve gotten loose, but haven’t opened up the phone to take a look at it.

Solution: It’s a good thing that you did a factory reset as this allows you to check if the problem is caused by a corrupt phone software. Unfortunately in this case the reset did not work. Try connecting your phone to its wall charger then check if the boot loop issue still occurs. If it doesn’t then the issue could be caused by a weak battery. Whatever the result I suggest you bring your phone to an authorized service center as this could already be a hardware related problem.
