More and more it seems that smartphones and tablets are merging into hybrid devices, which has especially been made clearer with images of the Nokia Lumia 1520 images that have just been leaked. The images show a giant device with a 6 inch 1080p screen. The images available can be compared to the Sony Xperia Z. The device is also rumored to have 2GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 6-inch 1080p display, 32GB of storage, and an SD slot. It will also likely come with the new Windows 8 update.
What is currently unknown is whether or not the device will have improvement on the software end of things to support the large screen Windows phones. The upcoming Windows update GDR3 will reportedly feature a Driving Mode that will allow users to mute calls and text while using a Bluetooth.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 is expected to launch on AT&T in the next few weeks.
