This Week in Mobile Tech

mobile news

In case anyone was worried that it has been a slow week in the mobile tech industry, fear not, for here is some of the biggest mobile news of the June 10th 2013 week.

Nokia’s Lumia 925 launched in Germany this week as part of a larger campaign to roll out in Europe and China, and eventually the United States. It comes bundled with a beta version of Nokia Glance Screen, which allows users to see the time and battery life without actually having to wake the phone.

BBM Channels has expanded its scope by allowing users to search for content rather than just browse. This feature alone will make the app far more attractive to people that have been on the fringe about using it.

Finally, the LG Optimus L4 II is now available in both Russia and the Ukraine. Features include Android 4.1, a 3.8-inch HVGA display, a 1GHz single-core processor and a 3-megapixel BSI camera.
