Lumia 920:
The highlights of the event were the new universal Qi wireless charging, an induction based wireless charging standard that will make it possible to charge the new Lumia phones not just with Nokia branded charging pads but also using any other wireless charging pads available in the market.
The Both phones come with 8 MP camera, but the Lumia 920 has been given the PureView branding. According to Nokia, PureView imaging capturing technology will allow SLR quality images to be captured with Lumia 920 smartphones. That is stretching it a bit too much we say, but we have no doubt the new camera will capture images and record HD videos better than existing smartphone cameras.
Another feature of note is the new PureMotion HD+ display in the Lumia 920. Nokia described it as a “fastest LCD display ever shipped on a smartphone.”. It is also said to be the brightest HD display in a smartphone ever and according to Nokia, offers “better than HD resolution.”
Another feature the Lumia 920 will boost is the new augmented reality based, Nokia City Lens. Simply pointing the camera lens at any street will overlay all the information that is available about the various merchant outlets, restaurants, hospitals etc on the live screen.
Nokia is also offering Nokia Drive and Nokia Transport, the Nokia location apps in its software suite.

Lumia 820:
The Lumia 820 is not too far from the 920 in terms hardware but has fewer features and a different body design. The main attraction of this fashion phone is the exchangeable shell design, which will let owners change the back panel with different colored ones. The Lumia 820 gets Internet Explorer 10, Xbox app and Microsoft Office apps.

Both phones will be available in select countries from later this year and prices will be announced subsequently.
